The proximity of the USVI and BVI makes the islands a premier destination for travelers wanting to experience a once-in-a-lifetime vacation. After years of travel restrictions to the British Virgin Islands territories, licensed charter boats can now travel freely between the USVI and BVI, and enjoy the stunning island views of both. There are countless must-see destinations throughout the Virgin Islands that What's Left charter guests can now experience during their escape.
Guests, especially those on 7 to 10-day charters, now have the luxury of visiting several notable USVI spots before traveling to the BVI to embrace some of the most stunning sailing yacht destinations in the Caribbean. After visiting St. Thomas and St. John, and taking in the beauty of Coral Bay, USVI boats can now sail to the BVI to visit Norman Island and snorkel at The Caves, or travel to Anegada and taste its world-renowned lobster. Between beach days and snorkeling, guests will have a chance to simply relax and take in the breathtaking sights.

Our BVI base is located at the Ritter Marina on Tortola, Ritter House, Lower Level Rear Entry in the capital, Road Town. The nearest airport is the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport (EIS), which is about a 25-minute cab ride to the marina.
There are two ways to get to our BVI charter base: fly into St. Thomas and catch a short ferry to the island of Tortola, or fly directly into Tortola, BVI (EIS airport). Once you arrive on Tortola, either by ferry or flight, you’ll need to take a taxi to Ritter Marina Wickhams Cay 2, which our charter specialists will be happy to arrange. Alternatively, guests may fly into either base location and arrange with our team to have What’s Left shuttled and docked awaiting your arrival.
Keep in mind that if you’re planning on visiting both the USVI and BVI on your trip, you’ll need to clear customs both ways, even when traveling via public or private water taxi service. Going from USVI to BVI, customs can be cleared in either White Bay (Jost Van Dyke) or Soper’s Hole (Tortola). Luckily, it’s a short process in either location!
